I. Raffle- it's on! We have 4 weeks to raise over 2000 bucks,
4. 2 New possible Board positions:
Liason to ASUM- In recognition of the effort and potential payoffs of being highly involved with ASUM, we feel the need for a specific position to be in constant upkeep of ASUM funding, events and communication.
Candidates: Alison
Community Events Coordinator- Being highly involved with the local community, we feel there is enough work involved with discovering, coordinating with, and publicizing events that are happening in the Missoula area.
Candidates: Mollie Morrow, Danny Noonan
We will be voting on this at the next meeting, Wednesday, Nov 3.
5. Benefiting Flood Victims in Pakistan
There is a benefit on November 9th to benefit flood victims in Pakistan, and they could use our help! They would like us to print fliers, which Nico is taking care of. After we have them, the need help distributing the fliers, promoting the event, and 8-10 items to be sold in the silent auction. Please be creative; these items don't necessarily have to be expensive, just valuable! We will talk more about this at the next meeting.
6. Vanessa Monteleone - Global Grizzlies
Our very own Vanessa Monteleone will be going to Venezuela with the Global Grizzlies program to help bring much needed medical supplies to communities! Congrats! To fund-raise, they will be hosting a dodgeball tournament on Saturday, October 30th. Its 5 bucks, and starts at 4pm. Nico, Mollie, Matt K, and Vanessa seemed interested in a team, so get ahold of them if you would like to join.
7. Deerlodge InterAct
Mike, Nico and Matt K are going to Deerlodge on Friday, Nov 12th OR Nov 19th to speak about RotarAct at the high school, and hopefully get them started on an InterAct program!
8. Watson's
Anneke is our new Watson's liason, we should have some more details at the next meeting. Thanks for taking on this responsibility Ani, everyone seems excited to get working with Watson's!
